you wait two weeks for one...

Well now, two gloves in as many days, what a thrill! This one had to involve a very speedy bend and snap on the move as there was a woman and her little girl behind me and I din't want them to think I was mental. Wasn't entirely sure it was a glove at first as it was a bit rolled up on itself, but hooray! I'm aiming for the hat trick tomorrow.

Times are tough...

So it would seem that when one is simply a crazy woman picking up gloves there is no end of the little blighters lying around, but as soon as one becomes a crazy blogger picking up gloves supplies run low. So I may have recruited a second crazy person who thankfully LOVES picking up crap other people don't want anymore. Below is my lovely husband's first find. Thanks love!

No glove no love?

I have always felt sorry for the lost and abandoned gloves that litter the streets during the winter months. So this winter I am going to collect them, clean them up if necessary, and put them online for all to see. At least that way they won't be lost for ever more, left to lie soggy and forgotten in the gutters of Edinburgh, but immortalised in pixels forever. And who knows, they might even be spotted by a careless owner and reunited with their other half!

So here's my very first glove of the season. It has clearly had a pretty good life thus far, being much loved by a young football fan. I'm not sure if this makes it more or less sad?
